Glorbo Fruttodrillo, the brainrot crocodile with a watermelon for a body

Glorbo Fruttodrillo

Green on the outside. All teeth at the front.

A crocodile with a watermelon for a body. The head is a real crocodile, jaws slightly open with the teeth showing and the eyes up on top of the skull. The middle is a whole watermelon, striped dark and light green, round and heavy. Four short scaled legs with claws hold the whole thing up. The proportions are the joke. The legs are crocodile sized, the body is not, and he carries it like it has always been there.

Meet Glorbo Fruttodrillo

Glorbo Fruttodrillo is a crocodile whose body is a watermelon. The head is photoreal crocodile, long snout, teeth along the jaw line, eyes set high. Behind it, instead of a torso, is a whole watermelon, striped in two greens and much wider than the head. Four short crocodile legs with claws come out underneath.

The name is half Italian. Frutto is fruit and coccodrillo is crocodile, and Fruttodrillo is the two of them jammed together. Glorbo is not a word in any language. It is there because it sounds right in front of the other one.

He is usually called a crocodile, which is what the name says, though some of the earliest posts tagged him as an alligator. Both versions travel, and they are the same character.

The idea is simple and lands hard. A watermelon is a thing you split open. A crocodile is the thing that does the splitting. Making the fruit the body of the animal means the joke never resolves.

The story

There is a whole sub genre of these characters built on fruit plus predator, and this one is the most reproduced of them. He first circulated in March 2025, standing in shallow swamp water among reeds, mist behind him.

Almost everything else you will read about him is invented. There are pages giving him a year of origin in medieval Italy, a cursed watermelon in the Tiber, a job guarding the country's fruit and a scene with the police. None of that is sourced anywhere we can check, and one of those stories belongs to a different meme entirely, so we do not publish any of it.

What is real is the drawing, and it is a good one. The watermelon is not stylised. It has the rind shading and the dark green banding of an actual melon, and pairing that with a photoreal crocodile head is why the image survives being reposted at any size.

The other reason it works is weight. He is clearly heavy. The legs are short, the body is round and low, and the whole animal reads as something that would be slow on land and extremely quick in the water. That is a crocodile thing, and it still reads even when the middle of the crocodile is a melon.

Our version keeps the jaw slightly open, the eyes small and unbothered, and the rind bright against the swamp colours in the legs. The teeth are the punchline of the whole design, so we left them where you can count them.

“Ask me about the seeds. Go on.”

Trivia

  • Frutto is fruit, coccodrillo is crocodile, and Fruttodrillo is the two words collapsed into one. Glorbo means nothing at all.
  • Crocodile or alligator: the name says crocodile, but some of the earliest posts used the alligator tag, so both names follow him around.
  • He first circulated in March 2025.
  • The detailed lore you will find about him, including the medieval origin and the police story, is fan invention and fails verification.
  • Spellings vary, since these names are invented and travel by ear.

Questions about Glorbo Fruttodrillo

What is Glorbo Fruttodrillo?

Glorbo Fruttodrillo is a crocodile with a watermelon for a body. The head is a full crocodile head, jaws slightly open with the teeth showing, and behind it sits a whole striped watermelon where the torso should be. Four short scaled legs with claws hold it up.

The name is half Italian. Frutto is fruit, coccodrillo is crocodile, and Fruttodrillo is the two words pushed into one. Glorbo means nothing, in any language. It is there for the sound.

He first circulated in March 2025. There is no verified creator and no verified backstory, and the detailed origin stories in circulation, including a medieval Italian one and one involving the police, fail verification. One of those stories actually belongs to a completely different meme.

He is usually called a crocodile, which is what the name says, but some early posts tagged him as an alligator. Both versions are the same character.

How do you get Glorbo Fruttodrillo in Steal a Brainrot, and how rare is he?

Glorbo Fruttodrillo comes the usual three ways: wait for him to come round in the game, have the money saved when he appears, or take one from another player's base. Stealing is a legitimate route, and losing him the same way is part of the deal.

We do not print rarity tiers, prices, earnings rates or spawn chances anywhere on this site. Those values get rebalanced, every guide written before a change is wrong afterwards, and every guide written after it will be wrong eventually. The number inside the game you are playing is the only real one.

He also turns up in other brainrot games, and in Fortnite islands with names like Steal the Brainrot. Those islands are built by players in Fortnite's creative tools. The only brainrot outfits Epic has published officially are Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina, so nothing about this character in Fortnite is an official collaboration.

What does Glorbo Fruttodrillo look like, and how do you draw him?

Glorbo Fruttodrillo is a watermelon with a crocodile at one end. Everything you need is in three shapes.

Start with a large circle for the melon, slightly wider than tall. Attach the crocodile head at the front left, low, overlapping the circle so the head grows out of the fruit instead of floating beside it. The snout is long and flat, the jaw line runs almost the full length of it, and the eyes sit high on top of the skull rather than on the sides.

Four legs underneath, short and bent outward at the elbow, with three or four claws each. Keep them short. Long legs turn him into a dog.

The melon is where the drawing is won. Dark green bands over a lighter green base, running top to bottom and bending with the curve of the ball, uneven in width, with a pale edge where the rind catches the light.

Skin on the head and legs is grey green with rough U shaped scales, heavier along the jaw and the top of the legs. The teeth are white, unevenly sized, and they overlap the lip line. Small eyes with a dark slit pupil finish it.

What does Glorbo Fruttodrillo mean?

Glorbo Fruttodrillo means, as far as it means anything, fruit crocodile. Frutto is Italian for fruit and coccodrillo is Italian for crocodile. Fruttodrillo is those two words collapsed into one, and it is not a real Italian word.

Glorbo is not a word either. It has no meaning in Italian or anywhere else, and that is normal for these names: one half carries the idea, the other half is there because it sounds good in front of it.

Nobody has documented what the person who made the name was thinking, so we describe the halves rather than claim the intent.

How to dress as Glorbo Fruttodrillo

One melon, one snout, four claws. Green everything.

Body: a round tub or a large beach ball worn at the middle, or a green hoodie stuffed round to bulk it out. Paint or tape the melon stripes on: wide dark green bands over a lighter green base, running from top to bottom and curving with the shape. Uneven bands look better than neat ones.

Head: a green hood with a snout built from a long box or a folded card wedge fixed at the front. Draw or cut the nostrils at the tip. Add two small domed eyes on top of the head, not on the sides, since crocodile eyes sit high.

Teeth: white card triangles glued along both edges of the snout, pointing at each other, with a few longer ones at the front. The gaps matter. A neat row reads as a costume shop mask, a ragged row reads as this character.

Limbs: green sleeves and trousers, with card claws at the hands and feet. Scale texture can be drawn on with a marker in rough U shapes.

Tail is optional and usually gets stood on. A short one, stuffed, pinned low at the back, is enough.

Without the build, a character tee with a green hood and card teeth still reads.
